Transportation Services
Transportation services at NVTC ensure that all prescribed habilitative services within the community are reliably afforded each of our clients. Within Residential Services, the Transportation Coordinator oversees the Transportation Department with Direct Care Drivers who provide transport to community day programs, medical appointments, formal leisure outings as well as on campus shuttle service. In addition to the coordination of NVTC transport, the department functions collaboratively with the Department of Medical Assistance Services’ (DMAS) contracted brokered transport service. Coordination with this contract service supplements the transportation needs of our clients.
